SHOW HALL:  The show hall is the MILFORD YOUTH CENTER 24 Pearl Street Milford, MA

 

SHOW HOTEL: Holiday Inn Express 50 Fortune Blvd, Milford, MA  01757  (508) 634-1054.  Room Rate is $70.00 per night with a onetime $25.00 pet deposit.  Rate includes a free hot breakfast for each guest.  Mention “Cats of the St Laurent” when booking.  Room block expires March 2, 2010. 

 

AIRPORT: Boston Logan International Airport BOS or Providence T F Green International Airport PVD.  Boston is 30 + minutes from Milford and Providence is 45 + minutes from Milford. 

CHECK-IN: Check in will be from 2:30 PM to 3:30 PM on Friday and 7:30 AM -8:30 AM on Saturday. Judging will begin promptly at 4:00 PM on Friday and 9:00 AM on Saturday.  Public admitted to pet show from 4:30 PM on Friday and 9:30 am on Saturday. No cats may remain in the show hall overnight. 

CAGES AND SUPPLIES: This is "not" a cageless show! Wire cages are provided, and   are 22”x22”x22” for a single cage and 22”x44”x22” for a double. The top, sides and back MUST be covered. Exhibitors wishing end of aisle – Please be aware that you may not place your grooming tables, coolers, etc. at the end of aisle due to traffic flow.

 

Disposable litter boxes and cat litter from Feline Pine will be available free for the exhibitors!!

HOUSEHOLD PETS: Household pet kittens (ages 4 - 7 months) and adults (8 months and older) may be entered. All adult HHP entries must be altered (spay or neutered). If you are unsure of the proper color class for your pet, include a full description or a photo (photo will be returned with confirmation.

KITTENS: Kittens entered for competition must be at least four months old on the first day of the show. Kittens for sale must be at least three months old on the first day of the show. TICA litter registration must be available upon request of show management. 

SHOW RULES: By entering, all exhibitors agree to abide by the decisions of the judges and the show committee and the TICA show rules. Official show rules may be obtained from TICA, P.O. Box 2964, Harlingen, Texas 78551, (956) 428-8046. 

REGISTRATION: With the exception of Korats, preliminary new breeds, advanced new breeds and new traits entries, registration with TICA is not necessary to compete in a cat’s first show, but is required for the next show and confirmation of titles and TICA Regional/International scoring and awards. 

THIS IS A NON-VETTED SHOW: All cats/kittens entering the show hall should be inoculated against Panleukopenia, Rhinotracheitis, Rabies and Calici virus and tested negative for Feline Leukemia. Please clip claws (front and back) prior to benching. Any cat/kitten showing signs of contagious illness, ear mites, fleas or fungus will be removed from the show hall, as well as any other cats/kittens exhibiting from the same household. Any cat which is obviously pregnant or lactating will be disqualified. 

SUMMARY SHEET: Please complete the summary sheet and return with entries and fees. Fee totals must accompany entry forms. NO REFUNDS. We will call collect if significant questions arise regarding your entries. A fee of $25.00 plus any bank fees will be charged on all checks returned for any reason. 

CLERKS: Please mark your summary sheet if you are interested in clerking. We need clerks and stewards. Clerks will be paid $30 per day. Stewards will be paid $20 per day. Lunch will also be provided. Please do not deduct clerking fees from your entry fee. 

HOLD HARMLESS POLICY: By entering this show, the exhibitor named on the entry form/summary sheet holds harmless Les Chats sur le St-Laurent, The International Cat Association (TICA), and the Milford Youth Center of any damages, claims, or theft as a result of any action/conduct related to the operations of this show.
